पादप हार्मोन व रासायनिक पदार्थ है जो पादपों में वृद्धि और अन्य जैविक क्रियाओं का नियंत्रण करते हैं ।   इन्हें फाइटोहार्मोस व वृद्धि नियंत्र क भी कहा जाता है।   मुख्य पादप हार्मोन कुछ इस प्रकार से है – ऑक्सिन – यह हार्मोन शीर्षस्थ प्रभाविता को   बढ़ावा   देता है ।   यह हार्मोन पादपों में   मूल - निर्माण को प्रेरित करता है।   यह हार्मोन पादप में पत्तियों के गिरने को रोकता है तथा यह हार्मोन बीज रहित फलों के निर्माण को भी प्रेरित करता है । जिबरेलिन - यहां हार्मोन बीजों की प्रसुसुप्ता- अवस्था को खत्म करता है तथा बीजों के अंकुरण को प्रेरित करता है ।   यहां हार्मोन बने पौधों की लंबाई को बढ़ाने में भी सहायक है ।   साइटोकिनिन - यहां हार्मोन कोशिका विभाजन के लिए उत्तरदाई होता है।   यहां हार्मोन पादपों की जीर्ण - अवस्था को दूर करने में सहायक है । एथिलीन - यहां एक गैसीय - फाइटोहार्मोस है जो पाद पों में फलों को पकाने के लिए उत्तरदाई होता है।   एबसिसिक   अम्ल - यहां एक वृद्धि निरोधक हार्मोन है।   य ह पादपों में ...

This gland is located below stomach. This is a “Heterocrine or mixed” gland. Some part of this gland is exocrine and secretes digestive enzymes and some part is endocrine and secretes hormones.  Pancreas secretes following hormones-              Insulin – This hormone regulates level of sugar in blood. This hormone convert extra glucose into glycogen which is stored in liver .Deficiency of this hormone causes “Diabetes”.                   Glycogen – This hormone converts glycogen in to glucose during starvation.

Endocrine glands –    Endocrine glands are ductless glands and secrete chemicals i.e. hormones.
